As you know my mother, Sara Marsh, is in memory care in Edgewater. She is receiving such wonderful care and so very importantly, LOVE!!!
Recently, she was hospitalized, and I wanted to let you know that there are a few people who have been so great through her recent ordeal. Of course, Debbie, who is in touch with me practically every day, sometimes multiple times a day—even when there isn’t a crisis. I trust her implicitly, especially these days when I am in New York and we’ve got this horrible pandemic! She is so kind and thorough with Mom you might think she’s caring for her own dear family member. The day she was discharged, she was quite confused and of course very anxious. I had lots of calls from her as did Tom Kelly. He encouraged her to leave her room and ask for help. Which she did. From what I understand, Irma spent a LOT of time walking Mom around and calming her down. I am so grateful to Irma.
You have such a great team. When I tell people what a fabulous facility Mom is in, and how she is in exactly the right place, they say they don’t often hear that from other people whose parents are in care facilities. We are so very lucky. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
