"We were looking for a facility with top shelf infrastructure and assistance for my father. In addition, we wanted my father to have the privacy of his own space. The new, modern layout of the Brilliance facility and many amenities fit our needs perfectly. We also liked the fact the the ownership of the facility has ties to the local community. This will be beneficial to the facility's stature in the community moving forward."

"I have made arrangements for my 90-year old father to become a guest at the new Brilliance Assisted Living Facility in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I chose this facility for a number of reasons, but mainly for it's convenience, amenities, and affordability. Brilliance is a brand new facility currently under construction and in the finishing stages. As such, everything is new. He will have his own bedroom and bathroom. Everything one could ask for in such a facility is there, including a movie theater, workout facility, pool, and lounge. All of the staff I have met so far have been gracious and accommodating, and I have complete confidence he will be in excellent care. We are both excited and looking forward to his future residence there."

"We would like to thank all of the staff members of Brilliance Assisted Living and especially those assigned to the memory care unit for the care and kindness you gave to our father, Joseph Palmer. We know how difficult our father could be. He wanted things done a certain way and it had to be done his way and on his time frame. You quickly learned exactly how to deal with his moods and demands and made him feel comfortable at the facility. Everyone there made Joe feel welcome and helped him in any way that you could. For that, we are very grateful. We tried very hard to ensure that our father did not feel he was forgotten and we visited often. We knew that when we were not there, you were there to ensure his health and comfort. We know he was not one to sleep much during the night and it was a comfort to know that the staff on night shift allowed him to wander or sit with them in the common room so that he was not alone.
Thank you again for all you did for Joe and know that he is finally at peace and with our mother."

As you know my mother, Sara Marsh, is in memory care in Edgewater. She is receiving such wonderful care and so very importantly, LOVE!!!
Recently, she was hospitalized, and I wanted to let you know that there are a few people who have been so great through her recent ordeal. Of course, Debbie, who is in touch with me practically every day, sometimes multiple times a day—even when there isn’t a crisis. I trust her implicitly, especially these days when I am in New York and we’ve got this horrible pandemic! She is so kind and thorough with Mom you might think she’s caring for her own dear family member. The day she was discharged, she was quite confused and of course very anxious. I had lots of calls from her as did Tom Kelly. He encouraged her to leave her room and ask for help. Which she did. From what I understand, Irma spent a LOT of time walking Mom around and calming her down. I am so grateful to Irma.
You have such a great team. When I tell people what a fabulous facility Mom is in, and how she is in exactly the right place, they say they don’t often hear that from other people whose parents are in care facilities. We are so very lucky. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

My mom has been at Brilliance for almost a year and we could not be happier. The facility is immaculate and the staff is super. The nurse Debbie goes above and beyond to keep family informed and up to date. Even texting pictures and videos to us so we can see the activities the the residents are enjoying. My mom is extremely happy there. It has been challenging and scary with this Covid but once again Debbie and the staff go above and beyond to keep everyone safe. To this date there have been no known case! A big THANK YOU to everyone involved for treating my mom as they would treat their own.

My Mom has been in this facility for a year. It is a beautiful and very caring place. Mom started in the AL and is now in Memory Care. She loves all the staff, everyone is so sweet to her which is greatly appreciated. Debbie has done an outstanding job in keeping the residents safe during this horrific pandemic. She has set rules beyond the mandates which has kept the residents safe. These are true Heroes in my book!

I have been most impressed by Brilliance Assisted Living in Edgewater since we moved our mom there this summer. The care and communication have been excellent. They have done a great job of protecting the residents during the pandemic. It is new and clean and the caregivers truly seem to care.

Brilliance Edgewater is doing a great job of keeping my mother safe there. They do testing of residents and staff and they stay abreast of best practices for their residents. When allowed, visitation was accomplished safely and the common room is a lovely place to relax with my mom. Thank you for keeping her safe

Our parents have been residents of Edgewater Brilliance since September 2019. The facility was brand new at the time and still looks as pristine as the day they moved in. All of the staff does a remarkable job in taking care of all the residents and keeping them safe especially during this pandemic. This is one of the few ALF's that have NOT had a single covid- 19 positive staff or resident. That in itself is remarkable and a true reflection of the hard work done by the entire staff. The Director of Nursing, Debbie, is outstanding. She is always available and goes above and beyond her duties to make sure every resident is safe and secure. She is very proactive and works to keep family members informed, particularly when visits have not been an option. If you are looking for a quality facility to place your loved one look no further.
